A Giveaway!!! a Thirty-One Bag- Stylish and Practical!!

Monday, October 17, 2011

I love purses!!  Love, puffy heart love, lurve purses!!

I have many, and every so often I come home with some hooks that I make my husband put up in our closet and he just rolls his eyes because he knows that means more purses will be coming in soon.  I have a big sweater box under our bed that doesn't hold one sweater,  I just rotate my purses in it depending on the current season.  Because ya know what?? It doesn't matter how much weight you gain or lose, a pretty purse will always fit you!

So last spring I didn't even roll my eyes when I got invited to another home party, because the friend told me it was for a company that sold purses. And thus I was hooked on Thirty-One!!  Fast forward to last week, when Angie from The Cellar Door Stories asked me if I would do a review and a giveaway and I was thrilled!

Not only are their purses pretty and stylish (and funky if you want!), but they're practical too! I love bags with lots of little pockets that can help me stay organized. And you can even add monogramming if you want to make all the other moms swoon!

I bought one of the Organizing Utility Totes last spring and I've used it almost daily since then!  It is absolutely perfect for my job as I travel room to room and can just carry all my supplies with me.

But I have to admit... there have been other areas of my life where I've thought to myself, "If only I had a spare Thirty-One bag, I would use it at the beach... when we go to the park... to keep supplies organized in the car".

Then Angie sent me some pics and I'm so impressed! You could use it as a gift wrapping center,

Or if you're in the car a lot, it would be a great traveling office! Just throw a hanging file system in and you're good to go! (by the way, this pic shows the coolest rosette pin that I'll mention later on...)

And thank goodness this has NOTHING to do with me anymore, but it would be a fantastic diaper bag or gift for a new mom-to-be!

So many of their items could serve so many purposes!  And the patterns are cool and funky or classic and sophisticated!  It was so cool to see the fabric choices and get to feel like you were designing your own bag!  I picked the Circle Spirals pattern for my bag to review and this is how cool Angie is...

She brought it over to my house this afternoon with flowers and a card!!!  Honestly, how sweet is that??!    I love, love the bag, but that little extra step really touched me!    We only met through blogging and have only briefly met one other time, so this was totally unexpected!

And you know what's super cool about this particular giveaway??  It's going to a wonderful cause!  Angie, recently became a consultant with Thirty-One Gifts to help raise adoption money and now we get to help her!  Seriously, who wouldn't want to help such a sweetheart?!

She's offering one of my readers an Organizing Utility Tote in the fabric of your choice!

And here's the best part, even if you don't win you can still help Angie raise adoption money and get yourself some cute swag!  Until October 30th, if you purchase $31 in products you can get the organizing tote for only $7!  Or even better, you can host an online party for her (yes, even if you don't live by her!), and earn some hostess rewards to spend any way you like!  Now is the perfect time to do it, people!  It's the start of the holiday season and these make awesome gifts. Take a look at the catalog, there are lots of accessories too, including little rosette pins for $3 that you can clip onto your bags!

So follow along with the rules for entering because they will be checked, my honest peeps!!  And please be sure you either have an active profile or you leave an email address in your comment! I need to be able to contact you!

1.  Be a follower of either A Turtle's Life for Me, the blog edition or A Turtle's Life for Me, Facebook style!

2.  Same song and dance for Angie... either follow The Cellar Door Stories blog or The Cellar Door Stories on Facebook.

3.  You can earn 3 extra entries by purchasing something using Angie's link (if you browse the catalog, make sure you go back to Angie's page to purchase!).  Leave 3 separate comments letting me know you purchased something!

4.  You can earn 3 more extra entries by hosting an online party or a real party if you're lucky enough to live by us!!  I'll put you in touch with her, she sets it up and you just have to write a post about it! Easy peasy!! Make sure to leave 3 separate comments letting me know you're having a party!!

So, there you have it folks.. that's 8 entries for your chance to get your life organized in style and help out a fantastic gal!!

The giveaway will run until midnight on Monday, October 24th and I'll announce the winner on Tuesday!! Good luck!
