Lots of exciting stuff is happening around these parts and the one thing
that's making me smile the biggest right now???
I stacked my sweaters in pretty little piles!!! I should have taken a before picture because these were just ALL OVER the place! I'm not exactly the tallest girl around, and these are on pretty much the highest shelf around, so it doesn't take long for them to start falling all in on each other. I pretty much have to hold a folded sweater by the one end, jump and simultaneously fling it, to get it up on this shelf. BUT... I weeded through them, got rid of a ton, and I think I can manage to keep these in order!
SMILES!!!
Oh yeah, and another little piece of HUGE news! I just found out I was chosen to be the Food Contributor for Craft-O-Maniac!!! I am so honored and excited and scared and all that other good stuff that keeps me plugging away at this blogging thing! I hope you'll all come visit me there!
Back to the cleaning, because I'm really not good at it and don't enjoy it, so we are going to celebrate every little bit that I do... this week, I have scrubbed down and cleaned every single kitchen cabinet!

and now that they're all nice and sparkly clean, this would be a great time to paint them, right??
Don't think my darling husband will ever go for that, though. : (

I don't even know how people do stuff like this, but I'm so glad there are people like Kate out there to rescue people like me! I wish so bad I could just snap my fingers and all of you would jump over to her blog and follow her and show her lots of comment love and everything else! She deserves it all!!
And lastly, for today, it has officially been over a week since I said I would show you the chore chart I made for my kids! No worries, I've still been making them do the chores all this time, but I just can't seem to get a good picture of it from head-on to show you guys! I'm hoping I'll fine some good sunlight this weekend to snap one. In the meantime, here's a sneak peek!

when I got all my daughters clothes folded nice and neat and you could see what was in her drawers instead of a big pile.

That fabric/backing for the chore chart looks super cool! I even saw these last weekend and thought they were cool but didn't notice all those numbers. Do you have anymore?? :)
