- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon Old Bay
- 12 Jalapenos
- 12 slices of bacon, uncooked
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine cream cheese, garlic powder and Old Bay in small bowl. Wearing plastic gloves, cut each jalapeno pepper in halve and spoon out the seeds. Spoon cream cheese mixture into each pepper half. Cut each piece of bacon in half so you have 24 pieces. Wrap each stuffed pepper in bacon, and place on baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Enjoy!
**If you aren’t a huge fan of spicy food, after you cut and seed the peppers, you can place them in boiling water for a couple minutes before you stuff and bake them. The longer you cook the peppers, the less “heat” they’ll have!
But honestly, these were the perfect combination of salty bacon, creamy cheese and just a little kick from the peppers!

A-mazing!
Thanks for the tip on how to decrease the spiciness. My hubby would love this recipe. I may have to make a couple of non spicy ones for me to try out
.
Great tip on the boiling the heat out of the peppers! Will try this with the batch of HOT peppers that are ready to fill. Hubby said the last batch were too hot for him so I ate the them myself, hehe.
Holy Pepper oh my gosh Get that bacon in this mouth STAT! I love cream cheese- seriously this is like a party in my mouth!! Thanks girl!!
Glad you mentioned wearing gloves when cleaning the peppers. The first time I made these a few years ago I didn’t wear gloves. I ended up sitting with my hands in a bowl of milk while everyone enjoyed the poppers.
OMG, Yum! Great idea! I’d love for you to add it on my link party at: http://printabelle.com/?p=3188 Thanks!
