Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

Sharing is caring!

If you didn’t read that title and immediately turn on your printer to print out this recipe, there is something seriously wrong with you.  Seriously. I’ve made them twice in a week.
The second time I made them was for friends. I walked past the husband on the deck who grabbed one off the plate, went into the house and my girlfriend said, “Oh my, what the hell is that?”.  I said, “I think that was your exact comment when I pinned these on Pinterest!”  Two thumbs up from everyone!
The original recipe is from Domesstic and is pretty much what I used with a couple tweaks!
Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Bites
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon Old Bay
  • 12 Jalapenos
  • 12 slices of bacon, uncooked

Preheat oven to 350F.  Combine cream cheese, garlic powder and Old Bay in small bowl.  Wearing plastic gloves, cut each jalapeno pepper in halve and spoon out the seeds. Spoon cream cheese mixture into each pepper half.  Cut each piece of bacon in half so you have 24 pieces. Wrap each stuffed pepper in bacon, and place on baking sheet.  Bake for 40-45 minutes.  Enjoy!

**If you aren’t a huge fan of spicy food, after you cut and seed the peppers, you can place them in boiling water for a couple minutes before you stuff and bake them.  The longer you cook the peppers, the less “heat” they’ll have!

But honestly, these were the perfect combination of salty bacon, creamy cheese and just a little kick from the peppers!

These are good. Darn good.  That’s a fact, you can Google it.
