One of my favorite parts of the holidays is inviting friends and family over to enjoy some delicious food and the festive decorations! It’s safe to say I jumped at the chance to work with Smithfield Bacon to show you how to create a bacon bar that is simple, delicious and perfect for holiday entertaining!

Seriously, my husband often has to tell me to put the brakes on all the invitations. I would have people over a few times a week if I could!

But I know that most peoples’ schedules are pretty full with invitations to other parties and events too, and most holiday parties are scheduled for the evenings. In order not to compete with other activities, we like to have holiday brunches!

I’m such a fan of brunch any time of the year, but around the holidays it just seems extra special and festive!

What could be a better way to start your day than with a Smithfield Bacon Bar to share with your friends and family?! If you ask my family… nothing.

Free printable labels so you can create your own bacon bar!

Nothing could be better than a bacon bar. Says my daughter as she carries her purse that says “Bacon fuels me” and my son who wears his bacon socks while staring at his bedroom wall art that is nothing but a painting of bacon. Yep, they’re all for bacon bars!

Which works for me because Smithfield makes it pretty easy to pull together an impressive spread. Just visit the Smithfield site and print off these gorgeous chalkboard labels to use with your bacon bar.

They even left some blank so you can create your own unique recipes and fill in your labels yourself. We’re still working on our must-haves for our bacon bar this weekend, but I’m thinking some of those blanks will be filled in with warm biscuits and spiral-sliced ham. Paired with some Smithfield Cherrywood Bacon, doesn’t that sound like an amazing brunch sandwich?!

Entertaining Hint: Make your Smithfield Spiral Sliced Ham the night before for your dinner and then use the leftovers as part of your Smithfield Bacon Bar! Two meals for the effort of one! And really, there’s very minimal effort involved! Check out how easy ham is to prepare!
