I pretty much live for puns. They make me giggle and snort my drink and make everybody else around me roll their eyes.
I had to do it! I mean seriously…
You’re getting muffin for Christmas!!
Yes, I’m so convinced it had to be done, that I’ve actually been making these for a few years now! And they make me giggle every year. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. And now I’m going to show you just how lame I used to be:
Yes, I used to give them just like this. Ugh, so plain and hohum. I’d probably throw on a gift tag quick, but that was about it! I love getting them all festive-ed up now and it only takes about 5 extra minutes!
And, guys, are you ready for it?? We are going to pretty them up by using Duck Brand® Holiday designs to Duck the Halls!! Bahaha!! I can hardly handle it!
I love Duck Tape’s Holiday designs and spent way too long trying to decide which ones to use. In fact, I may or may not have spent longer staring at the designs that I did actually decorating my package!
To start, just cut pieces of Duck Tape to the size you need to fit around your package. Take each piece, one at a time, and lay it out flat on the counter. Carefully fold it in half, sticky side in, and press it nice and firm to make one thin strip that isn’t sticky on either side.
Follow the picture below to cut your remaining pieces.
Wrap your long pieces around the package and adhere with more Duck Tape so it blends in.
For the bow, take your longest strip that you made for the bow and fold it in half, using a small piece of tape to adhere it together at the back seam. Take the shortest strip and wrap it around the center of your bow, sealing it with more tape. Then lay your tails down at the cross-section of your package strips. Tape them down and tape down the top of your bow!
Psst… don’t forget to put your muffins in before you do all of the above steps!
Isn’t it pretty!? Now you’re ready to deliver them! We always put a pack in our mailbox for the mailman and he leaves us the nicest card every year with how he gets a good chuckle out of them each year!
And they just look so Christmas spirit-y now with our Duck Brand® Holiday designs!
