This has been one of our most well-received teacher gifts and one of my most popular posts!!
(yeppers, that means it’s a repeat, but I’ve gotten sooo many new readers since the last time I posted it, so I’m going for it again!! And if it’s really not that popular and you teachers are just paying us lip-service then now is the time to speak up)
I love it too, because my kids do nearly all of the work!
We all are well aware that teachers love gift cards… actually I think most people love gift cards, but I guess when teachers are presented with that or a ceramic apple they just go really nutso with the g.c.!
So we make little gift card booklets, all written by the kids and tailored to the specific teacher’s interests! It all starts with a $1 chipboard book from Michael’s that we just add scrapbook paper too.
My sister kicked it up a notch when she took my idea and turned it into a story!
She had my niece write it to the tune of “If You Give a Pig a Pancake” and even had her draw illustrations with it. It’s seriously a truckload of cuteness!
